Emryl grew up with her parents, Aryth and Carstyn, in Asrhyl. She has five older sisters, Jenna, Roshyl, Allera, and Mysel, and three older brothers, Fenryl, Gyrel, and Martyn. In 23855, the family moved to Bernhyll, Restron to be closer to Aryth's family, including Emryl's uncle Corvan Rellick. In 24860, she apprenticed with Revenn Casten to study elemental kamai.
