Witchcraft
Witchcraft is one of the most common types of Elcenian magic. It consists of treating and combining substances and ingredients and activating latent magic in them, eliciting stronger desired effects and suppressing undesireable effects of the components and subcomponents. Witches make everything from medicinal potions to shampoo to food addiditives to household cleaners, although individual witches may specialize and some people learn only to make a handful of potions. Witches are typically trained as apprentices to more experienced witches, but some are trained in academic settings or learn on the job in companies that produce potions.
