Range: Parunias are a type of dragon, found wherever dragons are found.
Lifespan: See dragon
Parunias are dragons with one non-dragon parent and one dragon parent, and have the same color as the dragon parent. They are, for all purposes except ancestry, identical to dragons with two dragon parents. Parunias born to a non-dragon mother (or surrogate) are still laid as eggs, which often leads to a difficult labor; caesarean sections are common, as is accidental egg breakage during laying. (Parunias usually survive prematurely hatching in this way.) They comprise about five percent of half-dragons.
Parunias vary in color just as dragons do. They are reasonably likely to identify somewhat with their nondragon parent's background (and resemble it in the relevant form).
